The Nevera R is more than a drag-strip champion; it is engineered for precision cornering. Equipped with four electric motors, advanced ceramic brakes, a newly developed 108 kilowatt-hour battery pack, and Michelin Pilot Cup tires, the Nevera R ensures unparalleled handling and control. “Nobody missed power in the Nevera,” CEO Mate It commented ahead of the vehicle’s reveal. “But we decided to squeeze a little bit more out that we knew we could still get out of the car. And, of course, give it a more aggressive, even more interesting design than before.”
The Nevera R is a limited edition, with only 40 units planned for production. Each unit carries a base price of €2.3 million ($2.5 million), reflecting its exclusive nature and advanced engineering. This new model builds on the legacy of the original Nevera, which was itself a record-breaking hypercar when it launched in 2022, offering 1,914 horsepower, a 0 to 60 mph time of 1.85 seconds, and a top speed of 258 mph.

Rimac Automobili continues to operate as the EV hypercar brand under this umbrella. The Rimac Group also includes a technology subsidiary, Rimac Technology, which supplies EV components to other manufacturers, and Verne, a newly launched robotaxi business.

“Just taking a normal car, making it electric, that’s not enough,” Mate Rimac said. “It has to be better; it has to offer something unique. And in our case, you know, the customer group that we are talking to, basically is collectors.”
