Introduction Of Dubai

As the weather heats up here in the UAE, a few of Dubai’s most popular attractions are either already closed or getting ready to shut their doors for the summer season. It’s a pretty normal routine, with some places taking a pause for routine maintenance and others using the downtime for some exciting upgrades.

For those who loved the colorful displays, Garden Glow wrapped up its tenth season on April 6th of this year, after having reopened last September. Meanwhile, the iconic Dubai Fountain, known for its captivating water shows, held its final performance on April 19th. But don’t worry, this isn’t goodbye forever! The fountain is actually closing for a major renovation that promises to enhance its choreography, lighting, and sound. Even the popular abra rides in the area are on hold during this period, with the aim to have the upgraded fountain fully operational by October 2025.

Community favorite, the Ripe Market, where you can find fresh produce, local fashion, and unique artisanal goods, will be closing for its seasonal break on May 11th, 2025. Similarly, visitors still have a little window of opportunity to explore the wonders of Global Village before it concludes its 29th season, also on May 11th, 2025. If you’re a fan of floral beauty, you can still enjoy the stunning displays at Dubai Miracle Garden for a few more weeks before it closes on June 15th. Lastly, for those who enjoy wildlife encounters, the Dubai Safari Park will be closing its gates for the summer starting June 1st, 2025. So, if you’re planning any visits, it’s definitely worth keeping these temporary closures in mind!
