UAE’s 5-Year Multiple-Entry Visa Welcomed

Introduction Of Visa

Pakistani residents across the Gulf, Europe, and the US are showing immense interest in the new visa initiative as travel agencies report a surge in inquiries.

Visa

The UAE’s newly announced five-year, multiple-entry tourist visa has generated widespread enthusiasm among Pakistani expatriates, offering a renewed sense of connection, opportunity, and long-term planning. From family reunification to potential investments, the It is seen as a transformative step for the community.

Fariya Iqbal, a schoolteacher residing in Sharjah’s Al Tawoon area, said the It has opened up new possibilities for her family’s future. “We’ve long wanted to bring our parents here, and now that dream feels achievable,” she shared. “We’re even considering selling unused property in Pakistan to invest in a small business in the UAE. If the process is smooth, many people I know — including myself — will think seriously about relocating permanently.”

Fariya’s sentiment reflects a broader mood among Pakistanis across the region. “The UAE already feels like home,” she added. “This It just strengthens that bond.”

A Game-Changer for Families and Entrepreneurs

The UAE Ambassador to Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zaabi, confirmed the visa’s availability to Pakistani nationals after the resolution of previous bureaucratic hurdles, according to a report in Dawn.

Under the new policy, applicants can make multiple visits to the UAE over five years without needing a local sponsor. Each visit allows a stay of up to 90 days, extendable to 180 days per year, according to Dubai’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA).

The It’s announcement triggered a wave of interest globally. Dr. Zafar Tahir Rizvi, a partner at a Dubai-based travel agency, noted a dramatic uptick in inquiries. “We’ve been inundated with calls from Pakistani expats not only in the UAE, but also across the Gulf, Europe, and the US,” he said. “Even US green card holders are asking how this visa might allow them to split time between the two countries.”

Dr. Rizvi believes this is more than just a travel visa — it’s a gateway to life-changing opportunities. “It will ease relocation for skilled professionals and allow families to stay together without frequent visa renewals. If the visa includes medical insurance, it will be even more impactful, offering security along with flexibility.”

Strong Demand and Emotional Relief

Travel agencies like Muna Travels in Deira have already started collecting contact information to keep potential applicants informed once the official process begins.

“We’ve had nonstop enquiries since the announcement,” said Abbas Khan from Muna Travels. “Many people from the US, UK, and Gulf are seriously looking at how they can use this visa to start a new chapter in the UAE.”

For individuals like Awais Ahmed, an engineer living in Dubai’s International City, the visa announcement means more time with loved ones. “My parents are very close to my kids, but they’ve only seen them on video calls. Now, they can stay with us without the hassle of frequent visa applications. It’s an emotional milestone for us.”

Mohammed Shuaib, an engineer in Ajman, echoed this sentiment. “Before, even a short visit from siblings or relatives required endless paperwork and waiting. Now, whether it’s a wedding or an emergency, they can be here with ease. It removes so much stress.”

A New Chapter for the Pakistani Community

As Pakistani residents prepare to reunite with family members and explore business opportunities, the five-year multiple-entry visa is redefining their outlook on life in the UAE.

“This feels like a dream,” said Fariya. “We’ve waited years for a solution like this. Now it finally feels within reach.”
